All those interested in the culture of the Gagauz people are invited to a four-day Creative Tour. You will get acquainted with the traditional crafts of the Gagauz people – carpet weaving, wood carving, susaku. And of course, you will enjoy the amazing taste of traditional Gagauzian dishes. As part of the trip, Gagauzia will open to you as a mysterious book. We will visit the cities of Comrat, Ceadir-Lunga, the villages of Congaz, Joltai, Avdarma, Beșalma, Gaidar.

Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (ATO) is located in the south of Moldova. It is assumed that the ancestors of the Gagauz were Turkic nomads, who arrived in the Balkans around the 10th century.

You will get acquainted with the capital of Gagauzia – it is the center and the largest city of Gagauzia. The name Comrat consists of two words of Turkic origin “komur-at”, which means “black horse”. One of the legends says, that a certain “khan” named the village in honor of his horse, who carried the wounded owner from the battlefield. During the tour you will learn the history of the city, visit the most important and interesting sights.
