In the center of Comrat city, is located the “Glory Alley” of the Gagauz people, along which are installed the busts of the important people of Gagauzia, personalities in science, historians, poets. On the left side of the alley you can see the busts of prominent politicians of the region, and on the right, the figures of the personalities in the field of culture.
We can remark such personalities as the Turkish President Suleiman Demirel, Gagauz poet and director Dmitryi Caracioban, cleric Mihail Ciachir, ethnographer and historian Maria Marunevici, poets Aleksandr Puskin and Mihai Eminescu. The author of the works is I. Tronciu, his first work being presented to public in 2006.
